"Developing your leadership talent"
This practical, research-based three-day programme is for both experienced and new middle and senior leaders who are looking to further develop their leadership and management knowledge and skills. The programme will help to ensure that your leadership interactions have the impact you're looking for, supporting the drive for improvement in your own school, whilst successfully developing your leadership skills and confidence. During the programme you will:
- research into the characteristics of successful leaders and leadership and reflect on yourself as leader
- explore how effective leaders develop school cultures focused on improvement and achievement - for all
- review and further develop your personal and inter-personal leadership skills
- explore the accountability role of the leader in school self-evaluation and school improvement
- consider how to lead others - supporting and challenging individuals and teams
- further develop your skills in leading one conversation at a time - even the tricky ones
- further Developing Leadership
Day 1 - Thursday 10th May 9.30am - 3.30pm
Day 2 - Thursday 14th June 9.30am – 3.30pm
Day 3 - Thursday 5th July 9.30am – 3.30pm
Leadership training can provide significant benefits to teachers.
With leadership training teachers can:
- be more effective in dealing with all types of students
- create stronger, more productive relationships with parents
- become better negotiators, and persons who are able to take a stand
- set higher goals and find the means to reach these goals
- experience greater satisfaction
- be better able to learn about and deploy technology in the classroom
