Achieving Greater Depth in Maths is a one-day CPD course that shares the secrets behind strategies for success. With a focus on moving children from dependence to independence, this course will introduce you to a range of effective ways to enable pupils to:

  • achieve ‘actual’ fluency that can be applied in a different context
  • develop conceptual understanding and combine it with fluency to achieve Mathematical excellence
  • use metacognitive approaches to challenge themselves 
  • develop a range of reasoning skills
  • use Mathematical skills and knowledge across the curriculum
